Graduation!

So we are closing in on that time of the year again... Graduation season.
Well this year my little sister Hailey is graduating from my Alma Mater
(Go WHS Jags)! I decided I wanted to make a few cards for my Etsy
shop so I bought two cute graduate digis from PaperAddictions on Etsy
because I thought they were too cute and they
only cost $3 for the both! After I put together these cards
(using the most recent Verve sketch) I decided I might not put these
ones on Etsy and instead give them to my sister and her longtime
boyfriend who is also graduating from whs :-)

My creations:

Their school colors and red, black, white and silver

Supplies:

Paper Studio and Recollections paper
Paper Addictions digi stamps
buttons, twine, stickon gems
colored pencils and OMS

Retro Sketches #56

One more card before bed... Another last minute entry
as the Retro Sketch deadline is in an hour.
I did this card with the same paper pack as the last one.
My new pack from Recollections. I love the colors, very spring like
and pastel. It's actually quite different for me to have
purchased this pack cause I usually am not a
huge fan of pastel-ish colors but I sure am loving the mint!

The Sweet Stop SSS200

This weeks challenge over at the Sweet Stop
was a perfect sketch to do these bow ties that I wanted to do after
a friend showed me a picture of a card saying
it looked like something I would do lol. To make the bow ties
I cut out 1 1/2 squares out of various paper
and them by free handing, trimmed them into triangles.
It wasn't too hard...

Retro Sketches #53

For my card this week for Retro Sketches I got to use
my new stamps from SU! I used the stamp that has five ties but I
only used three of them and stamped them all separately
so I could make them different colors.
I also flipped the sketch and used a rectangular card instead of
a square card. I think it turned out well.

My creation:

Supplies:

SU! stamps,
Colorbox and Stazon inks
Authentique paper pack
Cuttlebug spots embossing folder
buttons and twine
